How to get Sanremo
The nearest airport is 50 km from Sanremo, Nice International Airport; then there is the 144 km far Genoa Airport. Sanremo Train Station is is situated in Cavallotti Avenue, a few steps from the near Police station, the Town Hall and the central Matteotti Street. The station is served by regional, interregional and intercity trains and inside you can find the ticket office, both traditional and ticket vending machine. A taxipoint is just outside the station.. Sanremo is served by the motorway network A10/E80 Highway of the Flowers, tract Genoa-Ventimiglia . The tollgate out is on the western hills of the town and from the exit you can reach the town centre driving down the scenic Padre Semeria route or the near Solaro Rapellin street. A good alterantive route can be to use the Arma di Taggiaexit (first town after Sanremo towards Genoa). From there you can enter the by-pass road called Aurelia Bis to avoid traffic jam. Aurelia bis presents different exits distributed along various areas of the town: Valle Armea/Bussana Mare, San Martino, Hospital and the central Borgo Tinasso. You may choose to avoid the motorway and drive along the ancient Roman Aurelia route that links Sanremo from the West to the East. If you arrive from France along the Costa Azzurra A8/E80 Menton Motorway, you have to go straight on towards Ventimiglia- Sanremo until you reach the exit.
